A bar is a factory behind a smile. If the well is wrong, no backlit bottle wall will save Friday. Draw bartender movement, ice, glass, and POS, then wrap it in the mood you want guests to remember.
Bar and Lounge Design
Plan the working bar first, then the glow, so service speed and atmosphere are not at war.

Work
The well is the interior
Reach, dump, and wash need to be lawful for a long shift. Over-designed bottle displays that block the working lights will be dismantled by staff.
Power, water, and beer gas belong in the first drawing. Joinery that ignores them gets cut on site in front of the owner.
- A bartender loop that does not collide
- Glass storage that is fast, not only pretty
- A pickup that does not queue into the best stools
- Service lighting you can actually see tickets under

Guest
Stools, booths, and the noise floor
Stools need a bag hook and a footrest people will use. Booths need to be cleaned. Acoustic treatment is part of luxury in a hard room.
Toilets and smoking rules will shape the floor whether you draw them early or fight them later.
- Mix stools and sit-down for different dwell
- Keep a standing sip zone from blocking waiters
- Mood light plus a cleanable work light
- A back bar that can be restocked without a show
Long enough for the well and peak tickets, not for Instagram width. Extra length that staff cannot work is wasted rent.
Light the floor changes, the bar top, and the glass. Darkness is for walls, not for steps.
With lighting scenes, a legal plan, and furniture that can flip. Tell us both modes at the start.
